NHS Property Services (NHSPS) is dedicated to enabling excellent patient care by serving as a trusted property advisor to the NHS. Our properties range from historic listed buildings to state-of-the-art integrated care centres, encompassing hospitals, GP practices, and administrative offices. We have a fantastic opportunity for a PFI Senior Contract Manager to join our team based in Redcar - Reed Marsh House - Coatham Road., The PFI Senior Contract Manager (SCM) plays a critical role at NHS PS acting as the Trust Representative for their assigned portfolio. The SCM will review documentation and inspect plant to ensure Project Companies are complying with requirements of the Project agreement, Health Technical Memorandums and British Standards. The (SCM) will ensure safe and reliable Facilities now and through to Contract Expiry. This role has one direct report, a Contract Manager, and works alongside 7 other Senior Contract Managers as well as multiple Contract Managers within the team. The SCMs and CMs as a team are the conduit / representative between Trusts, Clients and Tenants and the Service Providers / SPV's who deliver services for our customers. The SCMs provide expert specialist (Project Agreement) expertise to Project Co, colleagues, tenants, Directors and senior management. The SCM will undertake the role of Trust Representative as detailed in the Project Agreement. The PFI team is made up of specialists and team contributors, and whilst PFI Senior Contracts Managers will have their own designated contracts, they will operate nationally as a team, using their individual specialist skills and experience to contribute where required. What you will do :
- Agreeing plans and priorities, cascading organisational information to keep team members connected to what is happening in the wider business
- Responsible for managing the processes to provide the evidence portfolio to support the PFI Hand-back process in accordance with Infrastructure and Project Authority (IPA) mandated requirements
- Lead on all PFI activities within the assigned contract portfolio, collaborating with other managers across the business where appropriate
- Assist with the development / recruitment of a high performing PFI Team
- To be responsible for embedding change and other organisational initiatives within the assigned portfolio
PFI experience plus healthcare experience. - Commercial contract management background
- Management of budgets
- Good organisation and time management
The role is a permanent position working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm, hybrid between working from home, the office and the customer sites. The salary is starting from £60,000 plus £3,500 car allowance, up to 10% bonus and 27 days annual leave., We understand how important life is outside of work so, as well as a competitive salary we will also offer : - 27 days annual leave+ 8 days bank holiday with the option to buy additional weeks leave + car allowance.
