Full Job Description
You will be responsible maximising the commercial Results/Cash position of projects in terms of delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets. Mange the procurement of Sub-contractors, and their financial & contractual management. The preparing and agreeing Interim Valuations with the Client & for progressing the agreement of Variations as the work proceeds utilising company tools. Collaborating with the Project Manager and other members of the Project team.
+ Residential/Commercial sector experience
+ Previous experience must include a main contractor
+ Experience in producing financial reports, including forecast, net margin, & activity
+ Strong commercial awareness
+ Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produce accurate work
+ Be able to facilitate the promoting the training and development of Graduates and Assistant QS's
+ Demonstrate a solid understand/management of company reporting timetables, as well as key tools & procedures
Bouygues UK are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a £30 million refurbishment project, part of the International Sports Village (ISV) in Cardiff. This is a residential project for a housing association.
+ Post-contract financial forecasting financial reporting & control
+ Design management and value engineering
+ Sub-contract & consultant procurement
+ Sub-contract & consultant management
+ Client account management
+ Management of graduate and assistant surveyors
