While managing agent experience is preferred, our customer are open to those working on the Facilities Maintenance / Service Provider side interested in a move towards being the client and the added benefits, prestige and job security which come with that. Outside of strong technical expertise within electrical, mechanical and general HVAC systems, the role will be outward facing - liaising with developers, property and tenants. As much as this engineering bias, a client-facing and personable approach is key in fostering relations and day-to-day interaction with various stakeholders.
Candidates must be fully qualified in an engineering disciple (mechanical or electrical), with at least five years experience within an engineering/technical management role, or alternatively a technically qualified contract/account manager. Along with core engineering certificates, additional training such as IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH, current or previous HV / LV AP status, ACOP L8, etc will all be beneficial, as well as any engineering memberships.
