Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award winning and innovative housing association and our tenant focused Compliance Team. We are looking for a self-motivated and innovative individual, to act as a central point for the procurement and management of our cyclical maintenance contracts relating to fire safety., The Fire Compliance Officer position is a busy, varied and challenging role and you must be able to demonstrate good technical knowledge coupled with effective planning and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and to work on your initiative. You will be an effective communicator and team player with good IT skills.
About you
A relevant fire safety qualification (HNC or equivalent NEBOSH, IOSH, IWFM) and proven experience in a similar role is essential for this role, along with experience in implementing and monitoring annual and cyclical service programmes, compliance databases & management plans.
You will need a driving licence and have the use of a car every working day. The post is subject to a Basic Disclosure and is subject to a renewal disclosure check every three years.
