There really is something for everyone here.EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOWWe are seeking a dedicated Assistant Project Manager to support and coordinate the AMP8 Smart Meter (Advanced Meter Infrastructure - AMI) project. This role is crucial in driving continuous improvements aligned with Severn Trent's strategic goals.As our new Assistant Project manager, you'll handle business changes, project planning, and reporting. You'll also work closely with different teams to make sure best practices are shared and used. Plus, you'll be responsible for delivering projects and work-streams from start to finish.We need someone with experience in project coordination and management, great communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work well with various teams.Does this sound like you? - Support Smart Metering rollout and deliver AMP8 Smart programmes and work-streams through the project life cycle, ensuring key activities are planned and lessons learned.
- Build a compelling case for change, identifying delivery options and testing assumptions throughout the project.
- Engage with the Project Sponsor and manage stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and successful project delivery.
- Advise Project Boards, resolve issues, and recommend corrective actions, reporting progress, risks, and issues to leadership.
- Inspire and manage the Project Team, ensuring projects meet quality, time, and cost criteria.
- Identify and monitor project benefits, ensuring sustainable change with a future-focused approach.
- Deliver business change, assessing impact and making necessary adjustments to processes, systems, roles, and structures, with clear communication and support for employees.
- Analyse and apply relevant information to project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, adjusting messages to fit the audience.
- Set bold ambitions and develop the team's capability to deliver professional change services.
- Support the development of Business Change methodology and best practices.
- Travel and work across various sites in the Severn Trent Water Region, supporting local teams and being flexible with working hours.
