Programme Manager, Global Finance and Economy Programme and Oxford Martin Systemic Resilience Initiative
Environmental Change Institute (ECI), School of Geography and the Environment (SoGE), South Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3QY
The Global Finance and Economy Programme at Oxford's Environmental Change Institute (ECI) is looking for a Programme Manager to support its cutting-edge work in building systemic resilience across climate, nature, water, food, health, infrastructure, and finance.
Part of the Oxford Martin Systemic Resilience Initiative, led by Professor Michael Obersteiner, the programme provides analytics and evidence to support decision-makers in embedding resilience and sustainability into policy, planning, and finance. The Programme collaborates with governments, international organisations, financial institutions, regulators, industry, universities, and civil society organisations to align policy and global systems with sustainability goals.
The post-holder will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of the programme and initiative in all aspects, overseeing project activities within the research team. This role involves planning, managing, communications as well as organising seminars, conferences, and other academic events.
The post is a fixed-term, part-time position (0.8 FTE) for a duration of 6 months.
