Full Job Description
- Ensuring IT capability required to enable Heathrow to achieve business priorities, is successfully delivered by our supply chain partners
- Reviewing and agree the project delivery plan to support delivery of all aspects required to realise the defined business outcome, including all client (i.e. Heathrow) activities such as business change
- Working with key partners to understand and define the business needs and deliver benefits and outcomes to the business
- Ensuring risks to the successful delivery of the business outcomes have been identified and mitigation plans are in place.
- Ensuring all supplier work is contracted through the appropriate contract mechanisms and adhere to procurement processes and standards
- Ensuring the supply chain provide accurate and timely reporting of project progress by compiling management information on landmark delivery, risk and issues and financials to support assurance and decision making by the governance forums
Previous experience of leading the delivery of a portfolio of multiple projects of multi-million- pound value using agile and waterfall delivery methodologies - Validated experience of delivering projects in highly complex and fast pace environment
- Accountability for all aspects of project delivery including financial management and commercial
- The ability to influence and lead competing partner expectations, proven verbal and written communication and influencing skills negotiation
- able to cope with conflicting challenges and seek appropriate support or framework. Be comfortable at challenging the norms constructively Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience in project management processes i.e. risk management, change control, quality management, test management, etc
