Full Job Description
- Develop an integrated Asset Management Plan based on the combined effect of asset system strategies, business objectives and a thorough "real-world" understanding of our asset risks.
- Lead the data collection, modelling and analysis to support all recommendations within the Asset Management Plan.
- Ensure that capital investment requests are underpinned by a robust and documented business case and follow approved business processes.
- Engage with Principal Engineers, operational teams and other stakeholders to ensure mitigation plans are in place for asset risks and any actual or potential costs are understood.
- Lead the asset management input for the development and evaluation of strategic options to achieve the most efficient route to the Heathrow Master Plan.
- Verify that the intended benefits of asset investment have been achieved once work is complete. Collect feedback from post project reviews to inform future asset decisions as part of a continuous improvement cycle.
Degree qualification in a relevant discipline or demonstrable equivalent experience. - Good knowledge and experience of maintenance practices, methodologies and strategies.
- Knowledge and experience of the application of whole life cost principles to make asset management decisions.
- Knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle process.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to use data to quantify risks and prioritise asset needs.
- Development of compelling business cases through the translation of data, technical knowledge and evaluation of options.
