General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time Project Manager to join our PMO Team, based in Merthyr, South Wales. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £57,600 to £72,000 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally. Joining an established team based at our Merthyr facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders to manage the EAC, risks and project schedule. Provide the programme with updates and report on EAC variances. You will take an active lead to ensure that the Joint Integrated Programme Schedule is adhered to and raise any risks and issues to the Programme manager.If you were already working in this position, this is what you would have been working on this week:

• Manage the Earn Value Management (EVM) for the ITEA project and provide monthly updates to the PMO on performance.
• Manage and be responsible for the EAC on the programme.
• Attend and lead on weekly monthly programme EAC reviews. Support the Senior Programme Manager with Senior and Corporate level reviews., A compressed nine-day fortnight - which means every other Friday off!

  Demonstrable practical understanding and experience of project lifecycles and project delivery.
• Experience of project management in a product development and manufacturing environment.
• Understanding and experience using Earned Value Management for project control.
