We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued manufacturing clients for a Part-Time Production Assistant to join their friendly and established team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in staying organised, and wants to play a key part in supporting a busy production environment. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll help ensure materials, stock, and components are always prepared and readily available, helping production run smoothly and efficiently.

Whether you have experience in production, warehouse operations, stock control, stores, or picking and packing, we'd love to hear from you.

The RoleAs a Production Assistant, you'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the assembly department, including:

Preparing and replenishing components for production teams
Checking incoming stock deliveries and booking items into stock systems
Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
Preparing cables and components ready for assembly
Supporting annual stock-taking activities
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment
Assisting with general operational and site maintenance duties as required
Using Microsoft Excel and Word to support stock and production processes

What We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will be:

Reliable, punctual, and committed
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Practical and hands-on with a proactive approach
Able to prioritise tasks and work independently
Flexible when required to support operational demands

Previous experience in a production, warehouse, stores, stock control, or manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous, although full training will be provided.
