As we continue to grow and innovate, we're looking for a Hygiene Technologist to join our dedicated Quality & Technical team. Your Mission:As our Hygiene Technologist, you'll be the guardian of cleanliness, compliance, and chemical safety, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Allergen Cleaning Validations - Lead and document allergen cleaning and validation processes to ensure zero cross-contamination.
  • Micro Schedule Management - Monitor, trend, and analyze microbiological results, taking swift corrective actions where needed.
  • CIC Writing & Review - Develop and maintain Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs) for all production lines and environmental areas.
  • ️ Compliance Champion - Ensure all hygiene practices align with BRCGS and major retailer standards.
  • ️ COSHH Duty Holder - Take ownership of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) compliance, ensuring safe use, storage, and documentation of all cleaning chemicals and substances.

    Experience in a food manufacturing or hygiene-focused role (dry powder experience is a plus!)
  • Strong knowledge of allergen control, microbiological standards, and food safety regulations
  • Familiarity with COSHH regulations and chemical safety best practices
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
