Full Job Description
As a Trainee Maintenance Technician, you will work alongside experienced professionals, learning about:
- Compliance & Regulations - Understanding legal requirements and industry standards for building safety and maintenance.
- General Maintenance - Assisting with repairs and upkeep across our care homes, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and more.
- Health & Safety - Gaining knowledge of best practices to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Problem-Solving - Learning how to diagnose and fix maintenance issues efficiently.
- Multi-Trade Skills - Developing skills in various trades to support the maintenance team.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position, perfect for a school leaver or college student looking to gain hands-on experience in maintenance and compliance. No previous experience is required-just a willingness to learn!, No prior experience needed - full training will be provided. - A keen interest in maintenance, construction, or compliance.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to learning.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
- A driving license (or willingness to obtain one) is beneficial but not essential.
