Full Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth and market penetration for the World Travel Market (WTM) event and its associated brand. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the Event Value Proposition (EVP) and broader portfolio marketing strategies. Key responsibilities include defining the total addressable market, identifying growth opportunities across key industries and segments, and implementing strategies to expand audience reach. The role also involves cultivating relationships with associations, analysts, influencers, media, and industry bodies, while serving as the onsite lead during the event. By actively participating in external events and industry communities, the Product Marketing Manager will deepen their market knowledge, stay ahead of trends, and gain a nuanced understanding of visitor and exhibitor needs. Collaboration with the sales team is essential to ensure alignment on enablement initiatives and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies, while also acting as the voice of the customer to inform Insight programs. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for assigned shows, ensuring alignment with EVP and portfolio marketing strategies.
  • Identify market size, penetration, and growth opportunities across key industries and audience segments.
  • Design and implement strategies to grow and engage target audiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with associations, media, analysts, influencers, and industry bodies.
  • Represent the brand at events and lead onsite marketing execution.
  • Create detailed marketing plans and objectives for both visitors and exhibitors.
  • Collaborate with Sales on enablement and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives.
  • Contribute to persona development to enhance content and customer experience strategies.

    Strong understanding of marketing principles and audience engagement strategies across diverse markets.
  • Ability to assess market potential and identify inclusive growth opportunities.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience aligning marketing efforts with sales strategies, including account-based marketing.
  • Clear, effective communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident in representing the brand in a variety of professional settings and forums.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and contributing to shared goals.
  • Proficient with marketing tools and performance reporting platforms; open to learning new technologies.
