Full Job Description

As a Product Manager at Access Legal, you will be responsible for managing and leading your Legal products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure we iteratively deliver value-driven solutions to our customers. You will engage in all aspects of Product Management, including Customer Discovery, Product Development, and Launch. In this role, you will work with a team of Product Managers to integrate products and with multiple product teams and engineering across Access to ensure that our solutions offer best of breed functionality. This is a high-impact role where you will influence the future of our offerings, create synergies between products, and ensure cohesive alignment. Day-to-day, you will:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define, own, and communicate the product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with company objectives and market trends.
  • Roadmap Ownership: Own and communicate the product roadmap, balancing long-term innovation with short-term business needs. Ensure individual products align with the broader company strategy and customer goals.
  • Product Development: Manage the end-to-end product development process, including requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and testing.
  • Cross-Product Collaboration: Collaborate with product teams, engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to build and iterate on product value enhancements. ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Customer-Centric Development: Act as the voice of the customer, driving product decisions based on deep customer understanding. Conduct user research, market analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify needs, pain points, and opportunities and effectively prioritize enhancements that drive value and enhance user engagement.
  • Metrics & Performance: Define and track KPIs and product performance for your product. Use data-driven insights to measure success and identify areas for improvement across the product.
  • Stakeholder Management: Regularly interface with internal stakeholders (leadership, sales, marketing, etc.) and external customers to gather feedback, align on priorities, and drive awareness of the product vision, strategy and roadmap.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to ensure the product remains competitive and relevant.
  • Leadership: Foster a collaborative culture and lead by example through role modelling the Access way
  • Launch and Go-to-Market: Work closely with sales, marketing and product marketing teams to help drive impactful go-to-market strategies, ensuring product positioning, messaging, and marketing materials are aligned with commercial goals and products meet their intended value and objectives.
  • Your skills and experiences might also include

  • Experience: Product Management, preferably within complex SaaS products. Experience in the Legal market is a plus.
  • Customer-Centric: Strong ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and translate insights into product value.
  • Strategic Thinker: Proven track record of managing product roadmaps and aligning product strategy with company goals.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand the technical aspects of SaaS products.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience in successful go-to-market strategies and driving product growth and high levels of customer retention.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and drive product decisions based on data insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to stakeholders and collaborating across teams. Building relationships and bringing ideas to the team and providing good insight on why that would work and why it will be the best option
