Full Job Description

As a Programme Procurement Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. We ae seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to drive transformation, establish new processes, and lead a newly formed team. Oversee key categories including Facilities Management, Plant Hire, and Professional Services. Day-to-day, you'll drive procurement strategy alignment with Global and Local needs, leading team adoption, fostering cross-functional collaboration, optimising supplier negotiations, and ensuring continuous improvement through performance monitoring.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to align with both Global and Local requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop relationships and understand procurement needs.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts with a focus on adding value in the form of cost, delivery, quality and social value.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with new processes
  • This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

    Essential experience of Programme Procurement Manager
  • Extensive previous procurement experience, with a proven ability to lead teams through change.
  • Strong leadership and change management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in system implementations and process improvements.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Qualifications for the Programme Procurement Manager
  • CIPS Qualification
