Our CCS Customer Service Centre (CSC) teams are at the forefront of helping our customers understand and easily access our services.
We provide an excellent service to customers with 93% of enquiries dealt with at the first point of contact and a net promoter score of +60. We give guidance and support to:

Our Procurement Delivery team work to ensure compliant procurement activities that add value for our customers, save money for the taxpayer and achieve good policy outcomes.
They work with stakeholders to put in place commercial agreements and call-off contracts for the government and the public sector., The procurement delivery team within Procurement Operations is responsible for delivering all types of procurement activity for both internal and external customers. The team currently has a presence across Liverpool, Norwich, Newport and Birmingham and works to deliver compliant procurement processes inline with both PCR 2015 and PA23 regulations. Procurement Practitioners within the team lead on complex procurement's and manage procurement stakeholders from a range of organisations.
Key responsibilities
Typically, the key responsibilities in this role will include (but are not limited to):
+ Working effectively with senior staff in the supplier organisation and establishing appropriate governance and relationship arrangements.
+ Briefing and training evaluators in the application of scoring mechanisms and applying these.
+ Developing the bidders' packs including reviewing and clarifying the specification, drafting appropriate tools and considering optimal pricing and incentivisation mechanisms for simple low value purchases and procurements.
+ Leading and managing the end to end tendering process.
+ Debriefing unsuccessful suppliers.
+ Leading supplier engagement across a variety of stages within the procurement process.
+ Using methods and strategic relationships to manage risks and foster high quality, reliable and on time delivery of products and services, which are only available from one supplier.
+ Applying a strong visual project management approach to procurement projects.
+ Identifying and communicating perceived and relevant areas of risk and gaining agreement on how it is to be managed/mitigated.

CCS is a flexible business with a smarter working model where our colleagues benefit from a mix of home and office working. Successful candidates are expected to work from one of the office locations listed. Our current office attendance approach requires a minimum of 26 days per quarter (approx 2 days per week, which may be subject to change) in CCS office locations or off site meetings with suppliers, customers, partners, networking / industry events. This is pro rata for those who work part time.
