Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the team to support the day-to-day operation of the Plant Hire Department and assisting the Hire Desk manager to ensure the timely completion of requests.
- Sourcing and raising orders for all plant requests coming into the plant desk
- Complete all administration tasks as required
- Ensure our asset management system is updated with all supplier information and the costs are correct
- Action breakdowns within the timeframes of the SLA’s set out to minimize downtime and manage the contract’s expectations.
- Processing supplier live hires within Excel to ensure system accuracy
- Assisting with weekly reports
- Assisting in processing and distributing supplier invoice queries to resolve in time for the payment run.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure data integrity is correct and any discrepancies are identified, and re-occurrence is avoided.
Experience and Qualifications
- The successful candidate will be ambitious, willing to learn and keen to grow with the company in a busy Plant department.
- Previous Plant hire / hire desk experience is essential. Knowledge of the Utilities industry is desired but not essential
- Strong IT Skills (Outlook / Word / Excel) is essential
- The ability to plan your day and prioritise workload
- Confident phone manner to liaise with internal and external personnel at all levels.
