We're recruiting in our Psychiatric Liaison Service a 12-month Fixed Term for the Deputy Team Manager position to cover Maternity Leave. The Psychiatric Liaison Service is dynamic and dedicated service, committed to providing a high standard of clinical care to individuals in the local hospital trust with acute psychiatric presentations. We are looking for someone to join the team who is able to provide strong leadership and clinical oversight, guidance and support to the wider team. The responsibilities of the job include: + Providing day to day management and supervision to clinicians. + Supporting the ongoing development and performance management of the team. + Deputising for the Team Manager as required. + Contributing to monitoring team performance through clinical audit. + Support the team clinically including ability to function autonomously and competently at Band 7 level when undertaking assessments., + All new starters have a thorough induction process, both local and Trust wide, which aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale. + Appointment to this post is subject to the trust receiving satisfactory references covering 3 years of employment or study.
