To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team., Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs. Such tasks may include:
• Chronic disease management (inclusding Diabetes review)
• Wound care / ulcer care
• Removal of sutures/clips
• New patient medicals
• Urinalysis
• ECGs
• Peak flow readings & Spirometry
• Venepuncture
• Blood pressure measurements
• Routine immunisation

  Major Oak Medical Practice is looking for an experienced practice nurse to join our busy team. Hours are 21 hours per week over 2.5 days. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Experience in a GP practice is essential.
