We're looking for an experienced Senior Console QA Tester to support our console development efforts. You'll work closely with QA, production, and engineering to ensure every build meets the highest standards of platform compliance, stability, and player experience. In This Role You Will

• Collaborate with internal teams to create and maintain test plans, and oversee their execution
• Efficiently report bugs, ensuring they are detailed, informative, and actionable
• Provide crucial platform-specific feedback to the development team
• Ensure compliance, quality, and stability across new game content, features, and builds
• Perform general testing of PS5/XSX versions, including platform-specific features
• Manage quality across all development stages (from design docs to release and live support), proactively identifying and flagging potential compliance, performance, or UX issues
• Share console QA knowledge and best practices with other team members
  
  Experience with at least one released multiplayer AA+ title on PS5 and/or XSX, with a focus on compliance and online features
• Technical skills, including experience with crash dumps, performance traces, networking setup, entitlements, stores, accounts, and relevant diagnostic tools
• Proven expertise in Console QA (TRC/XR); experience with additional platforms is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong risk analysis and mitigation instincts
• Experience using JIRA or other bug tracking tools
Nice to Have
• FQA or UX QA experience
• Unreal Engine familiarity
• Crossplay and live service experience
• Love for MOBA or competitive multiplayer games

  This is a freelance contract role, currently scoped with a 6-month horizon, but with no guaranteed fixed term. Both parties will retain the flexibility to end the engagement with standard notice. The role is fully remote, with core hours aligned to 10:00 to 19:00 CET (including a 1-hour break), Monday to Friday.
