  • Collaborate with the QA Lead on the creation of testing plans.
  • Creation of concise yet informative defect reports, prioritised by severity and impact on the play experience in accordance with nDreams QA policy.
  • Keep the development team informed of any urgent issues that are affecting the game itself or your ability to carry out your role.
  • Help define the debug functionality that would make testing a game more effective.
  • Work at the project planning level to ensure QA time and its needs are represented in the project scope, timelines and budgets.

  • Sufficient technical knowledge to write detailed bug reports to help a multi-disciplined team solve reported issues more effectively.
  • Is versed in the VR platform guidelines and the complexities of providing additional data such as crash logs, videos, images or external references.
  • An excellent communicator who can concisely deliver information, both written and verbally.
  • Has worked with bug tracking software and understands the value of the workflow, bug severity and prioritisation.
  • A deep understanding of all the different roles that exist within a game development team so that you know who to go to when issues arise.
  • The nice to haves:
  • A VR gaming enthusiast, well versed in what good looks like in the VR gaming space.
