About the Job

We are currently looking for two creative and versatile Videographers to join our Warhammer Studio Customer Engagement team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working both behind the camera and in the editing suite, as you will have the flexibility to switch from one discipline to another in any given week. If you have a deep appreciation for the Warhammer Universe and want to help attract new customers whilst keeping our existing Warhammer fans engaged and inspired, then this could be the perfect role for you!

In this role you will be responsible for capturing, producing and editing video content for the Warhammer brand which includes trailers, promotional videos, gameplay showcases, tutorials and community engagement pieces. The ideal person will have an exceptional grasp of end to end video production, be used to working in a fast paced production environment, and be able to deliver high quality and entertaining video content to firm deadlines.

You'll collaborate closely with directors, producers and the wider creative team to help capture live events, conventions and community gatherings, producing compelling content offering valuable insights and feedback to enhance our customer engagement and propel it to new heights. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will ensure that all footage aligns with the brief and is fit for its intended purpose, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our content.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a videographer across a variety of video projects preferably within the gaming, fantasy or entertainment industries. You should be highly proficient in operating videography equipment, including Sony and Canon camera operation, lighting setups and sound recording.

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for creating compelling video content, proficient working knowledge of Premier Pro and Final Cut Pro, and the ability to showcase your meticulous attention to detail in every edit.

If you can manage multiple overlapping deadlines efficiently, convey ideas with clarity and believe in the power of open dialogue where ideas are welcomed from all corners, then apply below!

Working at Games Workshop

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let's not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!

Other Essential Information

  • Closing Date: Applications must be received by midnight, UK time, on Sunday 8th June 2025.

  • Location: This is a full time office based position from our Head Office in Lenton, Nottingham.

  • Travel: This role may involve some travel to domestic and international locations for filming and coverage of events. Ability to travel internationally is required. Frequency depends on demand but could be monthly.

  • Working hours: Although predominantly office hours, there may be evening and/or weekend work required, especially for event coverage and location shoots.
