Full Job Description
As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. The role involves devising imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing the residents' wellbeing, independence, and social engagement., The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning and organizing a variety of activities for the care home residents, including both individual and group activities. This may involve art, music, games, outings, and other social events. The role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to empathize with and engage the residents. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
