  • As a Journalist on the team, you'll work with colleagues across the BBC and within News to showcase BBC content at its best.
  • There's a huge opportunity to engage audiences we don't reach as well with vertical video on and off platform.
  • You'll be confident at pitching new ideas and creative treatments on the day's news stories.
  • You'll have experience scripting, producing, and editing digital video - guiding correspondents and reporters to deliver in a way that works for online audiences.

    Ability to work effectively as a member of more than one team.
  • Deliver content of the highest standard and within the required timeframe using available resources.

  • Experience using audience research and analytics to develop ideas and grow audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of the tools and techniques used to produce digital video in the BBC.
  • Must be proficient in FCP and/or Adobe Premiere.
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with new ideas for storytelling in video.

    PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £28,400- £36,800 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.We're happy to discuss flexible working.
