o BBC South are looking for a talented senior journalist team manager to lead the social media team that produces content that travels from the South of England to the world. You'll lead the team and shape the content that will help make BBC South reach the audiences that don't automatically come to us already.Your Key Responsibilities and Impact o Responsible for originating, producing and publishing stories for the regional social media accounts and the BBC website, which can also be used on other outlets. o The successful candidate will be the member of staff to sign off on a story or video before it goes live on one of the biggest news platforms in the world o Commission and select relevant materials ensuring they meet expectations of our audiences and adhere to the BBC's editorial guidelines. o As required, to allocate work to a team and check progress; ensure the professional contribution of staff and the quality of output.     PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: Up to £53,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.We're happy to discuss flexible working.
