Job Description:Overview12 month fixed term contractWe're seeking an organised, creative, and strategically minded social media content creator, with a passion for producing engaging short-form content across a multitude of social media platforms.Beyond content ideation, candidates require a combination of specific skill sets including strategic thinking, technical proficiency and content analysis.Ultimately, they must be able to create content that resonates with an automotive target audience to achieve specific marketing objectives in-line with the client's expectations. ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Ideation:
- Work closely with the lead videographer and wider creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative social media content ideas that align with brand goals, brand voice and automotive themes.
- Develop content calendars and schedules to ensure a consistent and diverse content flow. A monthly content plan will form the backbone of this role, so candidates will need to understand the 'bigger picture'.
- Understand how to build an online community for a brand or organisation with a basic understanding of customer service. Social Copywriting:
- Write compelling, concise, and platform-optimised copy for all social media posts (e.g., Instagram captions, YouTube descriptions, TikTok text overlays, Facebook posts). Project Management & Coordination:
- Act as a central point of contact for social content, coordinating with the lead videographer, as well as freelance editors, creators and other team members to ensure timely content delivery..
- Track content performance metrics (e.g engagement, reach, CTR and VTR) to inform future content strategy., Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum CriteriaYour skills, experience and knowledge/ Minimum role criteriaDescribe the necessary skills and experience required to do the role. Again, aim for five/six bullet points here.+ Proven experience in a social media content creation, content management, or social media coordinator role, ideally for a video-focused brand.+ Exceptional written communication skills with a strong portfolio of social media copy.+ Demonstrable passion for and knowledge of the automotive industry is essential. You should understand car culture, models, and industry news.+ Solid understanding of content optimisation for various social media platforms including (YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) including best practices for short-form video.+ Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple content streams simultaneously.+, Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced
