Full Job Description
We are currently recruiting for our client on the outskirts of Nantwich with a CAD Designer Opportunity! Are you a skilled CAD professional with an eye for precision and a passion for structure? Join our clients dynamic team and bring your technical talents to life in the design and delivery of high-quality buildings. Daily duties will include
- Creating detailed fabrication and erection drawings for construction projects.
- Prepare accurate order lists to ensure smooth procurement and production.
- Liaise with suppliers, negotiating costs and reviewing pricing regularly.
- Translate client briefs into technical designs, offering clear, practical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with customers and colleagues, providing expert advice and technical support.
- Review technical drawings to eliminate on-site issues and ensure flawless execution.
- Organise structural calculations and SER certifications as required.
- Act as the go-to contact for our Fabrication teamsolving queries and streamlining workflows.
- Champion our brand and maintain high standards of safety at every step.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a CAD-focused role, experience with steel portal frame buildings is highly desirable and the ability to deliver strong 3D designs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required along with outstanding numeracy, logistical thinking, and attention to detail.
