• Researching and writing press releases and liaising with relevant officers, senior managers and Members.
• Supporting project teams and assisting with the planning and delivery of communications and marketing campaigns.

Researching and writing news releases and responding to media enquiries will be at the heart of this role, alongside developing contacts and building relationships with journalists. You'll also be creative and able to develop ideas to tell the council's story and create engaging content for social media and marketing campaigns.
