Full Job Description
The role will facilitate the delivery of effective and enhanced Doctoral College operations, service committees, manage events and support strategic initiatives. They will work closely with academic and professional staff across the university to deliver high quality support services to research degree students and supervisors, and other stakeholders. They will draft, review and update research degree policies, procedures, online content and communications; prepare committee papers, reports and briefings; and conduct data analysis for the Dean of Doctoral College. They will also work collaboratively with and support other Doctoral College colleagues and the Strategic Executive Officer (Research) to support LSHTM operational and strategic activities as required.
The successful applicant will have a higher education degree or equivalent, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working collaboratively as part of a team and engaging with diverse stakeholders. You will have excellent organisational skills and experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities within tight timeframes, and use initiative to solve problems independently. The post is part-time 7 hours per week, 0.2 FTE and fixed-term until 30 September 2026. The post is available from 01 October 2025.

The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £39,432 - £45,097 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary "Wellbeing Days". Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
