Full Job Description
The Head of VIP & Communications role will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of brand communications, VIP relationships and PR strategies. Reporting into the Brand Director, this individual will help drive the brand's narrative, ensuring Emilia Wickstead's positioning as a leader in luxury fashion is reinforced across various channels. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, external agencies and high-profile clients / stylists to elevate the brand's image, maintain strong relationships with VIPs and assist on compelling communication strategies., VIP & Influencer Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients, celebrities, influencers, stylists and press to support brand visibility and exclusivity.
- Manage VIP fittings, bespoke orders and requests for red carpet and event appearances, ensuring impeccable service and communication.
- Oversee the coordination and logistics of loaning garments for VIPs, including managing the flow of samples and liaising with stylists.
- Attend all high-profile VIP fittings alongside the atelier team to ensure the highest level of service, attention to detail, and brand representation.
- Identify and engage relevant influencers and opinion leaders for product placements, collaborations and partnerships that align with the brand's luxury positioning.
- Lead the execution of VIP dressing for high-profile events such as film festivals, awards shows, and major global fashion events.
- Track and report on VIP coverage, influencer collaborations, and their impact on brand awareness and sales.
- Network and build relationships with brand ambassadors, creating an engaged Emilia Wickstead community that champions the brand across key markets. Public Relations & Events
- Act as the key liaison with external PR agencies, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maximized media coverage.
- Drive proactive media outreach to secure editorial placements and press features in select high-end UK fashion and luxury lifestyle publications (e.g., Vogue, Harper's Bazaar).
- Organize and manage brand events, including product launches, fashion shows, trunk shows, and VIP client events, ensuring they are executed to the highest standard.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align on overall strategy and contribute to key events and marketing activations.
- Support collaborations with luxury partners, ensuring seamless integration of Emilia Wickstead into collaborative marketing and PR initiatives.
- Manage press requests and media inquiries for Emilia Wickstead brand.
- Implement creative ideas that enhance brand storytelling, engagement, and visibility.
- Play a key role in the planning and execution of Emilia Wickstead's London Fashion Week shows in February and September, working alongside production teams, managing guest lists, and securing attendance from top-tier media, industry leaders, VIPs, and KOLs. Team Leadership & Reporting
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- In partnership with the Brand Director, set measurable KPIs for communications and VIP initiatives, tracking their impact and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on media coverage, campaign effectiveness, VIP relations, and influencer partnerships to present to senior management.

- 5+ years of industry experience within luxury fashion, communications, PR, or a related field.
- Self-motivated, creative and resourceful individual with deep understanding of global press and fashion creative landscape and innate sense of luxury storytelling.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong communications, interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to work as a team, keen multitasker who can spearhead projects on his/her own with accountability.
- Well organised, able to balance competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of the luxury fashion industry, with existing strong relationships with key editors, stylists, and KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders).
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing PR agencies and executing large-scale events a plus.
- A strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
- Passion for luxury fashion and a deep understanding of the Emilia Wickstead brand aesthetic and values.
