Production Operative / Factory Operative / Warehouse Assistant

Location: Maidstone, Kent
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm | Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm

Production Operative Required

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Maidstone. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Factory Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Assembly Operative, Machine Operator, Production Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, or anyone seeking a hands-on manufacturing role.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production environment where you'll be working with tools, machinery, and industrial equipment to manufacture high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Working as a Production Operative within a busy factory environment
Carrying out assembly and manufacturing tasks to company specifications
Using hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment safely and effectively
Operating production machinery and equipment
Completing repetitive production and assembly work with a high level of accuracy
Following manufacturing instructions and production schedules

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operating role is advantageous
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the working day
Good manual dexterity and practical skills
Ability to use hand tools and basic workshop equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, assembly, or production environments is desirable but not essential
