Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Sidcup
Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–18:30
Contract: Temporary PAYE via Pertemps
Pay: £13.50 per hour

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Reach / Counterbalance Forklift Driver / FLT Operative on a temporary basis to provide essential cover. The successful candidate must be confident operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks ( in date, external license - B1 Forklift License and D1 Forklift License ) and willing to support a variety of warehouse duties — this is not just a forklift role, and hands‑on manual handling will be required.

Key Responsibilities

As FLT Driver, you will be responsible for:

Operating Counterbalance and Reach trucks ( B1 and D1) safely.
Picking pallets, sheets, and cartons, including packing where needed.
Assisting with unloading vehicles.
Completing put away of pallets and cases.
General warehouse duties and manual handling tasks.

Additional Requirements as FLT Driver :

A full driving licence is essential, as the Forklift Truck Driver will occasionally be required to bring lorries into the yard in the evening when needed.
Ability to work independently and within a small team.
Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
