Operations Assistant – Peterborough (PE1 5UT) – Plumb Centre

As an Operations Assistant based in Peterborough (PE1 5UT) you will be responsible for:  

• Receiving and booking in stock, checking items against delivery notes, reporting discrepancies and putting away goods into the correct locations.

• Accurately picking and packing customer orders in a timely manner (please note this role involves heavy lifting).

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.

• Carrying out general housekeeping duties to ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and maintained up to high standards.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday along with Saturdays on a rota when required.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment would be ideal.

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training.

• Be a hardworking, reliable team player willing to learn new processes.
