We are seeking a reliable and motivated Depot Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of the depot, ensuring equipment, facilities, and vehicles are maintained and prepared to the highest standards.,

Preparation of equipment for hire, use, or deployment.
Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and basic repairs on equipment.
Cleaning and maintenance of all welfare units, working areas, and depot facilities.
Sign making and the preparation of site signage will form a regular part of the role, including producing, maintaining, and organising signs as required.
Safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
Stock handling and organisation within the depot.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
Supporting the wider depot team with operational requirements.

The successful candidate will be practical, organised, and committed to working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment., Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence.
Valid FLT Reach Truck Licence.
Previous experience working within a depot, warehouse, yard, or similar operational environment.
Practical maintenance and repair skills.
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
