You will take responsibility for the organisation and delivery of events including:

leading the planning, organisation, delivery and evaluation of events within the Council's Events Programme
giving advice, support and guidance to Community Event organisers, stakeholders and other agencies wishing to stage events in Birmingham.
managing event budgets, including monitoring expenditure, processing invoices and ensuring financial compliance
working closely with community organisations, sponsors, promoters, cultural bodies, sports governing organisations and external agencies.
supporting the process for attaining grant and commercial funding, though identification and creation of partnership opportunities that will enhance resource available and outcomes delivered through events
