The successful candidate will have theability to extend, challenge and develop our most able performers, as well as possessing theability to inspire and nurture a love for sport in every pupil in the school. This is an excellentopportunity to gain valuable coaching and teaching experience whilst being part of anaccomplished department.The arrangement will be a casual working arrangement whereby the hours of work will beflexible and on an 'as required' basis.The role involves the following:

  • Planning, delivering and leading high quality Netball sessions to pupils.
  • Responsibility for a team(s) including home and away fixtures, which may include
  • Saturdays, and post-match teas.
  • Delivering Netball sessions at lunchtime and after school as required.
  • To promote an ethos of good conduct on and off the field in all sports, and to
  • promote high expectations and high levels of effort from all pupils.
  • To ensure that our programme is fun and enjoyable for all of our pupils.
  • Promoting welfare and safety of all members of the school community, and
  • adherence to the school's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
  • Support all members of the school community with respect and consideration.
  • Set a good example to pupils in terms of appropriate dress, standards of
  • punctuality and attendance.
  • Participate in the management of the School by attending meetings as required., Adhere to the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring that all tasks are carried out safely and
  • effectively with due regard to the health and safety of all members of the school community, including visitors and the post-holder.
  • Any other duty as required by the line manager commensurate with the post.
  • Safeguarding Responsibilities
  • The provision of a safe environment in which children and young people feel heard
  • Being aware of the indicators of abuse and neglect
  • Ensuring vigilance in recognising changes in behaviour or mood
  • Reporting safeguarding concerns in line with the School's Safeguarding Children and Child
  • Protection Policy
  • Attending Safeguarding training and updates as requested by the School
