Full Job Description
You will be required to muck out, turn out and care for a variety of livery horses. You will learn skills like;
clipping
loading
trimming
bathing.You will improve your customer service skills dealing with clients over at the riding school and supporting show days. We also have breeding stock on site.
Training
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach. There will also be opportunities to ride and learn full horse care.
No previous qualification required. Having a Grade 4/ C or above in GCSE maths and English is desirable but not essential.
If you have not achieved these grades, you must be willing to work towards gaining your functional skills qualifications in maths and/ or English and Haddon Trainign will support you in doing this.
Skills required
You must be able to do basic horse handling as a minimum to be considered for this role.
