Full Job Description
- Interrogate the waste contractor's Integrated Management Information and Report System (IMIRS) to ensure compliance with performance requirements.
- Assist in the management of the payment process relating performance to payments to the waste contractor.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with the Waste Management Contract.
- Assist in producing progress reports as appropriate
- Ensure inspections of waste management facilities are conducted in accordance with agreed programmes and procedures.
- Use data management techniques to identify data inaccuracies and report these performance failures through appropriate channels.
- To assist in the investigation and monitoring of customer complaints relating to the services provided.
- Ensure direct invoicing of customers using the Council's accounts system (Agresso).
To be an ambassador for the Council when dealing with all stakeholders, customers and have excellent communication and inter-personnel skills. - To be self-motivated and can motivate others.
- To have a good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- The ability to assess problems and provide practical solutions.
- To have the ability to prioritise conflicting demands.
- To display good numeracy and literacy skills.
- To have the ability to multi-task and display a flexible working approach., Current Licence to show no more than 6 penalty points as per current national driving penalties system.
- 5 GCSE passes (Grade A-C), or equivalent in English and mathematics
- Car for business use.
