Full Job Description
You will work across all WRS teams advising on specialist knowledge and expertise in both communications and marketing being proactive in providing expertise to teams on all aspects of the communications plan and beyond for Environmental Health and Licensing on behalf of all of the District Councils within Worcestershire.,
- To work with teams in WRS and collaboratively with all of the communications teams across the County.
- To be the lead contact for press releases, social media content, newsletters and promotional activity.
- Promote awareness of the service and the wide areas that are covered by the officers at WRS
- To be able to liaise with customers, partners and businesses and to have the ability to build connections and relationships with a wide variety of audiences.
- To represent WRS and our partner organisations ensuring a good standard of customer service at all times.
We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic with a commitment to accuracy and creativity. You will need to be capable of working independently and have the confidence to use your own judgement and initiative whilst also working effectively as part of a wider multidisciplinary team., Experience of dealing with members of the public - Experience of working within a Regulatory Service
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Experience of a wide variety of social media, communication and creativity tools.
- Ability to work on own initiative with the minimum of supervision
- The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Experience of writing press releases, newsletters or web content
