Job description
School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences
Part-time (18.5 hours per week); Fixed-term from 1st August 2025 to 31st July 2029

We are looking for an exceptional individual to help manage a research group with partners in the UK, Ethiopia, Kenya and Ghana related to improving nutrition in dryland communities in East Africa.
We are seeking applicants who have relevant experience in professional or academic environments, interfacing and developing strong relationships with government, industry, and civil society partners, working with doctoral researchers or early career researchers, project finance, database management, and managing multiple project partners. You will be passionate about leadership, have excellent organisational skills, an ability to respond immediately to changing priorities and rationalise competing demands, and you will manage the group's work to be delivered to the highest standards, within time and budget. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative, while also proactively contributing to the overall management of the team.
