Summary
Package Description:
Stowe School, a prestigious independent school in England, is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Head of Netball and Sports Coach. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who possesses the ambition, drive, and energy to assist in leading our netball programme for teams ranging from Under 14 to Under 19, as well as supporting individual players progress. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building upon the school's rapid recent development in netball and in furthering our ambition to establish Stowe School as a centre of excellence in the sport.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of coaching or playing netball at an elite level. A deep understanding of the game, combined with innovative coaching techniques, will be essential to inspire and develop our student athletes. Additionally, the ability to coach a summer sport to a good standard would be advantageous and may enhance the scope of your role within the school.
Please note that this post does not carry a teaching requirement; however, teaching opportunities can be provided as part of the role for those interested. The package can potentially include full board and lodging, making this an attractive opportunity for professionals looking to immerse themselves in a vibrant and diverse boarding school environment. The position is term time only, with the successful candidate expected to fully embrace the unique challenges and benefits of life at a busy boarding school.
If you are an outstanding and inspirational coach with experience of playing or coaching netball at the highest level, we would be delighted to hear from you. This role offers the potential for significant personal and professional development in a supportive and enthusiastic setting. The ideal start date for this position is September 2025.
