We are now looking for a Legal Assistant to join our team in our Maidstone office, the working hours are Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm, hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. As a Legal Assistant you be supporting the Supervising Solicitor with the initial client contact and legal aid application processing along with drafting client care letters.,

Initial contact with client to discuss means and merits process
Completing legal aid application forms and submitting through the CCMS portal
Contacting courts and 3^rd parties
Compiling court bundles

You must have a law degree or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage demanding and conflicting caseloads
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A desire to progress your own career
