We're looking for a curious and motivated graduate to join our Software Quality Assurance team in Basildon. This role is ideal for someone with a technical mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. You'll be embedded in a team of experienced professionals, gaining practical experience in testing and quality control as part of a fast-paced development environment. You'll play a key role in the software development lifecycle, helping ensure our platforms meet the highest quality standards, and learning a broad range of skills in testing methodologies, development tools, and client-focused delivery. What you'll be doing:

• Writing and executing manual test cases across key applications
• Supporting the design and execution of automated tests
• Using SQL queries to validate data and support defect analysis
• Logging and tracking bugs and performance issues
• Working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to improvements in testing practices
  
  A 2:2 or above in Computer Science or related field - graduating in 2024 - 2025
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Experience or familiarity with SQL, PLSQL, XML or HTML
• An understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing concepts
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• A willingness to take ownership of your work and seek out learning opportunities
Desirable (but not essential):
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Selenium, or APIs
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as C#, VBScript, or Python
• Awareness of testing frameworks or quality assurance principles
• Experience with Agile delivery environments
