This role would suit an experienced infrastructure solutions architect or technical leader with a strong background in outsourced services, particularly within financial services.
It's ideal for someone ready to step into a leadership role, bringing expertise in Active Directory transformations, infrastructure migrations, and operational oversight.
A bit about the job :
You'll be joining a newly established team dedicated to leading the oversight of Aviva's outsourced on-prem infrastructure landscape.
You'll be at the heart of architectural management, supporting migration waves, and ensuring technical operational excellence across infrastructure, capacity, and vulnerability management.
You'll lead a team of experienced technicians, balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic goals. Your leadership will be key to maintaining service continuity while driving forward critical transformation initiatives.
Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure change programmes in outsourced environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing technical team.
Deep expertise in Active Directory transformations and infrastructure migration strategies.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across infrastructure and application teams to deliver change.
Proactive approach to risk and control management in a regulated environment.
Salary Circa £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days.
