Required Technical Skills

  • Knowledge on C Lan to understand FS Internet Banking code.
  • Knowledge on C++ to understand web server part.
  • Shell scripting
  • Basic Java scripting for used in colleague apps UI.
  • Basic HTML to understand UI for colleague apps
  • Application programming interface like XML, JSON etc.
  • Knowledge on Relational database knowing DB2 will be added advantage
  • Pro C to talk to database from C code.
  • Core Java to understand the SMS component
  • Version control tools like Git.
  • Knowledge on Monitoring, Logging and Observability tools used in market like Dynatrace, Splunk (Preferred)
  • Fair amount of knowledge on Python for understand db2sync tools
  • IBM Advanced crypto service provider (ACSP/Crypto).
  • Knowledge on Linux and Unix operating system.
  • Basic knowledge on how CI/CD works.

Additional Skills That Might Help for Future Migration

  • Orchestrating tools like Kubernetes.
  • Container runtime like Docker.
  • Principles and Design and process to build a micro-service application like (The Twelve-Factor App)
  • Designing a Micro-service either using Java Spring Boot or Go
  • Knowledge on any one cloud service providers - GCP/Azure/AWS
