Technical Claims Handler

We’re recruiting a Technical Claims Handler for a growing team managing professional indemnity claims. If you’ve got claims experience and want to take on more responsibility while building a long-term career in PI, this could be the role for you.

Our client offers a very competitive basic salary, as well as a brilliant benefits package, and a 35 hour working week, with flexibility to work hybrid with 2 days expected in the office in Bristol.

What You’ll Do:

Run a varied, technical caseload, investigating claims and negotiating settlements within delegated authority.
Advise and support insured clients and brokers, ensuring fair and efficient outcomes.
Manage panel solicitors and claims outside delegated authority with accuracy and commercial sense.
Maintain detailed records, report to insurers, and help drive continuous improvement.
Share knowledge and support team development through training and guidance.
