Full Job Description

This sounds like a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys flexible working hours and engaging with diverse communities! The role of a Field Interviewer at the Office for National Statistics (ONS) involves conducting surveys and interviews to gather important data that informs government decisions.
Here are some key points about the role:
+ Flexible Working Hours: Equivalent to 22 hours per week, with interviews conducted between 09:00 - 20:00, including potential admin and travel time outside these hours.
+ Training: Comprehensive 5-week training to ensure success in the role.
+ Field Work: Visiting sampled addresses and interviewing respondents in their homes within a 40-mile radius of an allocated location.

+ Skills Required: Friendly personality, excellent communication skills, self-discipline, and the ability to work independently.
+ Requirements: Full valid UK Driving License, use of a car for work purposes, proof of identity, and a broadband internet connection at home.
