This is a unique opportunity to lead a specialist, high-performing team delivering complex assessments and interventions. You will:

• Coach and inspire your team to deliver excellent social work and family support practice.
• Oversee complex community-based assessments (including Parent Assess, CUBAS, and specialist risk assessments).
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust and external partners such as schools, health professionals, and the police.
• Create an aspirational, supportive team culture, keeping children and young people at the heart of everything you do.
• Support the professional development of others by offering training and contributing to our Trust-wide learning culture., At Birmingham Children's Trust, safeguarding children and young people is our top priority. All roles are subject to the appropriate level of DBS check.

• Be a qualified and registered social worker with strong leadership experience.

• Have proven people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Be a confident problem-solver, supporting staff to make best-interest decisions in line with legislation and best practice.
• Use management information systems effectively to monitor performance and maintain high standards.
• Bring creativity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
