Learning & Development Administrator Location: Leicester OR Gateshead What you will be doing: An opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Administrator to join the team at Galliford Try. You will work be working as part of our HR Team, supporting our People Agenda, particularly around the administration of our Learning and Development (L&D) solutions. As part of a forward-thinking HR team, you will have the ability to challenge the status quo. You will be solution oriented, and able to flex your style to adapt to different situations supporting a wide and diverse stakeholder population need. The key deliverables for the role are:
- Coordinate training activity in accordance with the People section of the Business Management System (BMS)
- Update and maintain all L&D training records
- Work with stakeholders to manage changes and maintain accurate records within the Learner Management System.
- Provide efficient and effective support to a range of stakeholders, focusing on excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Ensure pre/post-course records are created, filed and distributed accurately and in a timely manner
- Collate/prepare course materials including course training manuals, distribution of joining instructions and suitable venues, refreshments, joining instructions and any other ancillary requirements
- Ensure course attendance is managed, achieving best value and maximising attendance for both internal and external courses
- Use technology for the coordination and delivery of training events where relevant
- Support in maintaining compliance and input into monthly reporting
- Undertake any other duties and ad hoc tasks which may reasonably be expected as requested by members of the Senior HR Team.
- Support driving efficiency across the HR team.
- Promote and manage a culture of inclusive customer service and equal opportunities, to exemplify and promote Galliford Try.
You will be a great team player with the ability to organise and plan own workload effectively to ensure deadlines are met. Experience of CITB processes and an understanding of external funding bodies and data processes would be desirable but not essential.
