Full Job Description
Are you an experienced HR Advisor with a background in hospitals or healthcare, ready to take on your next challenge?, Schoen Clinic York is looking for someone to join our dedicated team as an Interim HR Advisor on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll work closely with our Hospital Director and wider HR team, delivering expert on-site support across a wide range of HR matters. You'll play a key part in ensuring our HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and effectively, whilst fully aligned with current employment legislation. Your responsibilities will include embedding company policies, managing induction and probation processes, overseeing compliance reporting, enhancing the use of our HR Information System (HRIS), and providing invaluable guidance to line managers on employee relations issues, always ensuring adherence to both internal guidelines and legal standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute directly to our hospital's growth strategy. You'll empower our managers with practical HR knowledge and tools, enabling them to operate confidently and independently, while remaining supported by our central HR team beyond the conclusion of this contract. This role will be based on site 5 days per week between usual weekday working hours (9am - 5:30pm). If you're looking to make an impact within a dynamic healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you!
As an experienced HR professional, you will have experience of working within a healthcare setting and will be confident in managing employee relations cases from start to finish and have a strong grasp of HR metrics and KPI reporting. You will be comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a wider team, have a sharp eye for detail, and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo to influence key decisions in areas of HR process. You'll also well-versed in Microsoft Windows, HR systems, and understand the importance of data protection, GDPR, and confidentiality standards.
The Schoen Clinic Group (schoen-klinik.de) was founded in 1985 and has since developed into Germany's fifth-largest privately-owned hospital group, with 12,000 employees. The group also includes the leading online telemedicine clinic: MindDoc. Schoen Clinic entered the UK healthcare market in 2017, providing award-winning, expert-led healthcare specialising only in certain areas of medicine - mental health, complex dementia care and eating disorders at Schoen Clinic Chelsea, and Schoen Clinic York.
You will have access to a wide range of benefits which include (but not limited to):
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays, which increases with the length of service
- Enhanced maternity & paternity pay
